INTEGRATIVE BODYWORK
CUPPING
Cupping Therapy increases blood circulation and stretches the area where the cups are applied. Cupping may relieve muscle tension, improve blood flow and promote cell repair. It may also help form new pathways for oxygen and hydration to replenish soft tissue. Contraindications: Cancer, malignant tumors, or while receiving cancer therapy Rheumatoid arthritis flare-up Infection Fever Aneurysms Acute hematomas Deep vein thrombosis Low blood pressure Acute circulatory disorders (varicosities) Diabetes 1 Liver dysfunction Kidney dysfunction Hemophiliacs and clients who bruise easily Clients with extreme exhaustion, high stress, or weakened general conditions Severe edema Psoriasis Rash, Sunburn Skin lesions, acne Medications –thin skinning medication, Aspirin, Blood Thinners
MYOFASCIAL RELEASE
Myofascial Release focuses on the fascia rather than the muscles. Fascia surrounds and supports the muscles and organs throughout the body. Focused manual pressure and stretching used in MFR can loosen up restricted movement, leading indirectly to reduced pain. Contraindications Burns, injuries, or painful wounds Fractures or broken bones Fragile bones Deep vein thrombosis or deep vein issues Blood-thinning medications
IASTM
Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) intentionally micro-traumatizes soft tissue using tools in a specific region to create heat and heal the area. Contraindications: Open wound (unhealed suture site) Unhealed fracture Thrombophlebitis Uncontrolled hypertension Patient intolerance/hypersensitivity Hematoma Osteomyelitis Myositis ossificans Hemophilia Anti-coagulant medications Cancer Varicose veins Burn scars Acute inflammatory conditions Kidney dysfunction Rheumatoid arthritis Pregnancy

Contraindications: Local Contraindications (can not massage over affected area) Pregnancy Undiagnosed lumps, bumps, or pain Bruising/Abrasions Varicose veins Sunburn
REFLEXOLOGY
DEEP TISSUE
Deep Tissue massage works the deeper underlying muscular level—this type of massage targets nagging knots, scar tissue, and inflexible areas that cause pain. Sports therapy techniques include Active Release Technique (ART), stretching, and joint mobilization to enhance athletic performance. This work is strategic, corrective, and deeply enjoyable. Contraindications: Fever (anytime you have a fever, whether from a cold, the flu, or some other infection, you should not get a massage) Contagious Diseases Blood Clots Pregnancy Kidney Conditions or Liver Conditions Cancer Inflammation Uncontrolled Hypertension
SPORTS INJURY
Massage plays a vital role as a supplement to any injury rehabilitation. Massage helps the body pump more oxygen and nutrients into tissues and vital organs by encouraging circulatory movement and relaxing muscles, enabling the injured area(s) to become more flexible and heal at an accelerated rate. Contraindications: Acute soft tissue inflammation (Massage may cause further damage to the tissue) Open wounds Fractures and dislocations Myositis ossificans DVT (deep vein thrombosis) Varicose veins Infectious skin disease Melanoma and other cancers
Swedish Massage, AKA "classic massage," uses light to firm pressure with long, gliding strokes to provide a profoundly relaxing experience. Swedish Massage increases circulation, eases muscle tension, flushes lactic acid (soreness) from tired muscles, dissolving tension. Swedish Massage can deepen the breath and soften the skin. Each Massage includes hot towels & aromatherapy. Contraindications: Fever Infectious or contagious diseases Hemophilia and a history of heart disease. Shingles (Herpes zoster) It is essential to seek your doctor's approval before having a massage when in doubt.
